Dr. Aman Mohd. Khan had done Masters and Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science AMU, Aligarh. After that, he completed Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) from the same institution funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi on the topic “A Study of Resettlement, Rehabilitation and Reconciliation of the Victims of Communal Violence in post-Godhra Gujarat”. Apart from this, he has two Masters Degrees from IGNOU in distance mode. Dr. Khan has also qualified UGC NET. His area of interest is Human-Rights with especial reference to communalism, communal violence, minorities and police in India. He has articles published in various journals and magazines. His Ph.D. thesis was also published by the Manak Publishers in the form of a book titled ‘Human Rights and Police: A study of communal violence in Gujarat’. Currently, he is at the Centre for Distance Education (CDE) of AMU.
